How do I make a youth baseball lineup every week without starting over?
Keep your roster and ratings (or stack ranks) in the app. Each game, mark who’s present, generate batting and defense, then lock or tweak only what changed — absences, pitchers, or fairness requests.
Is there an easy Little League lineup maker for fair playing time?
Use Fair mode for recreational Little League and similar leagues. Switch to Balanced or Competitive when your age group or season gets more serious — same roster, different priorities.
Can I plan batting order and defense for the whole game?
Yes. Baseball Lineup Manager builds batting order plus inning-by-inning defense and bench. Edit in the table or on the diamond, then print or export for game day.
What if kids are absent or late on game day?
Update who’s playing, fill empty spots (or refill unlocked cells), and keep locked assignments. You’re adjusting this week’s game — not rebuilding a spreadsheet from scratch.
Can an assistant coach use the same roster?
Share a .lineupteam file with roster, ratings, and season settings. They import it and plan lineups on their phone or iPad without retyping names.
Does it work for select / travel teams?
Yes. Choose Competitive or Balanced and Select 8U–12U (or Coast / Majors). Lock pitcher and key spots while filling the rest of the game quickly each weekend.
